Talent Management learnings from the recession


Taleo research recently published an interesting study on what companies have learned about Talent Management during the recession in 2009, and what they need to focus on going forward.

The two main concerns have been the reduced employee engagement during turbulent times, and the fear of losing top performers, both of which could reduce the bottom line and threaten your brand.

Losing top performers should be a real concern: in the latest study I have seen, which was UK-based, 34% of the employees were considering changing employer once the business climate improves.
